Scope of service

Modern Kitchen SD is a kitchen remodel referral service, not the contracting crew. We are not a licensed contractor, we do not perform kitchen remodel work, and we do not set or collect the price for it. We connect San Diego County homeowners with insured local crews for full gut remodels, cabinet refacing, custom cabinets, countertops, kitchen islands, backsplashes, open-concept wall removal, flooring, electrical, lighting, and design-led renovations. Pricing ranges on this site describe general market conditions at the time of writing and may change. The quote from the crew you are matched with is the authoritative price, and you can verify any contractor's license at cslb.ca.gov before work begins.

Service agreements

All kitchen remodel work is governed by a separate written service agreement between you and the crew you are matched with. That agreement, not this site and not Modern Kitchen SD, sets the warranty terms, cancellation policy, payment terms, change order policy, and punchlist process for the project.

Intellectual property

All content on this site, including written copy, kitchen remodel photos, and branding, belongs to Modern Kitchen SD unless otherwise noted. You may read, share links to, and quote briefly with attribution. Please do not reproduce entire articles, images, or branded materials without permission.

Third-party links

We may link to third-party sites (manufacturer documentation, building code references, etc.). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.

Limitation of liability

Information on this site is provided as-is without warranty. We introduce homeowners to independent contractors; we do not supervise, direct, or guarantee their work, and the service agreement you sign with a crew governs that work.
