Kitchen design and 3D render across San Diego County
The single most valuable step in a kitchen remodel is the design, and the single most common mistake is skipping it. We come to your home, measure the room, sketch two or three layout options, pull cabinet elevations and finish selections, and deliver a 3D render you can sign off on before any demo starts. You walk into construction knowing exactly what you are getting.

What do homeowners ask about Kitchen Design?
How much does a kitchen design consult cost in San Diego?
The first in-home consult is free for new remodel projects. A paid full design package with measured drawings, cabinet elevations, finish selections, and a 3D render runs $750-$1,500 depending on the room size. We credit the design fee toward the project if you move forward with us within 90 days.
Do I need a kitchen designer or a contractor?
You need both, but the design should come first. A kitchen designer locks the layout, the cabinet elevations, and the finish selections. The contractor prices the work and runs the build. Bringing the contractor in after the design is signed off is the cleanest way to avoid surprise change orders mid-project.
What should I bring to a kitchen design consult?
Bring a Pinterest board, magazine clippings, or photos of kitchens you like. Note what you hate about the existing kitchen. Have a rough budget in mind, even if it is a range. We use all of that to narrow the layout and finish options before sketching the first elevation.
How accurate is a 3D render?
A 3D render is a 3D render, not a photo of the finished kitchen. The cabinet layout, the counter material, the backsplash, and the lighting layout are accurate to the design. The actual finish tones will shift slightly with the room lighting and the natural light, which is why we always include a finish sample in the design package.
Can I make changes to the design after the render?
Yes, we build in one round of revisions after the first render. Bigger changes (moving the sink, switching cabinet lines, changing the layout) count as a new design and add cost. We flag what is a revision and what is a redesign at the consult so there are no surprises.
